Today, Australia’s Home Affairs Minister Clare O’Neil published an opinion piece in the AFR on the upcoming major overhaul of Australia’s migration system.
Back in October last year, the Australian Government confirmed that graduates in certain fields would be eligible for longer Subclass 485 Graduate Work visas. The confirmed changes (for the initial grant) were: Bachelor’s graduates: from 2 years to 4 years; Master’s graduates: from 3 years to 5 years; All doctoral graduates: from 4 years to 6 years
In last week’s NSW Subclass 190 invitation round, accountants held firm with minimum invitation scores of 100+5 points. Meanwhile, External Auditors were mostly invited at 85+5 points — a relatively accessible score.
