More good news this week on visa grants, invitations and skills assessments!
In the previous two issues I covered “Can a self-employed person be employer-sponsored?” and “Does employer sponsorship really not require a skills assessment?” — both questions that come up constantly in our consultations.
The quotas for the 2023-2024 financial year have been released, and the Department of Home Affairs has not allocated any investor-migration places to the states.
Queensland updated its policy this afternoon. A cut to the quota usually means policy tightens — but Queensland’s policy has actually loosened instead.
In August, most of the attention was on state nomination quotas.
Good news on MINT this September! The pioneers who first took up MINT are set to receive, on 4 September, the refund promised earlier by the Northern Territory MINT fund.
