Better late than never — Western Australia has released the full data for its May invitation round. Overall, this round invited more candidates from overseas and interstate, and most were Subclass 491 invitations. The general stream Sch2 that everyone watches most closely still only invited applicants already in the state, with the points threshold dropping slightly!

New Zealanders will no longer need to obtain Australian PR first before becoming eligible for Australian citizenship—a change that will directly affect roughly 350,000 New Zealanders living in Australia.
