Over the past month, news on Australia’s new migration policy has been arriving thick and fast! First thing this morning the Department of Home Affairs website updated the detailed allocation of these 190,000 places!

On 27 April, the Minister for Home Affairs mentioned at the NPC that by the end of 2023 all temporary skilled visa holders would have a clear pathway to PR. At the press conference, however, the Minister only touched on this briefly, with no detail whatsoever — not even clarifying exactly which visas the term “temporary skilled visa” covers.
