Department of Home Affairs Announces Parent Migration Quota Legislation: Contributory Parent Visa Quota Significantly Reduced

The Department of Home Affairs has announced parent migration quota legislation: the Contributory Parent migration quota (cap) has been reduced from 7,175 to 6,096, and the non-contributory parent migration quota has been reduced from 1,500 to 1,275. Those who need to apply are encouraged to submit their parents’ applications as soon as possible to secure a place in the queue.
