Multiple Subclass 190 Grants This Week, Employer Sponsorship Still Lightning-Fast! SA / Tasmania / Canberra State Nomination All Showing “Signs of Life”! Visitor Visas Granted in Bulk!

More good news this week on visa grants, invitations and skills assessments!

Overall, skilled grants included a few general occupations, but there was no major movement across the board. Subclass 143 parent visas were granted, South Australia has opened processing and invitations for the new financial year, and Canberra is also approving formal nominations. Tasmania has also begun issuing ROI pre-invitations.

189We have seen general-occupation grants from the December approval round — for example accounting.

Subclass 887 granted

South Australia Subclass 190 invited!
Interstate-to-SA working category — lodged before last financial year closed, formally invited yesterday. They caught the last train before the quota was cut.

Canberra state nomination formally approved
An offshore conference and event organiser — received a Matrix invitation in the first round in mid-July, when only a Matrix score of 65 was required

Another event and conference organiser who received a Matrix invitation in the first mid-July round, with a Matrix score of 70

Subclass 143 parent migration granted
Subclass 143 requests for further information have progressed to around 9 May 2017, and we still have some applications lodged on the 9th that have not yet received a request for further information.
Engineering technologist skills assessment approved

Hydraulic engineer skills assessment approved
This is a relatively uncommon one — it is a specialisation under civil engineer, so the ANZSCO code is also 233211. Engineering and construction occupations have relatively more opportunities in this year’s climate — states such as Western Australia and New South Wales have said they are critically short of construction talent, giving these occupations priority in state nomination.

Project administrator skills assessment approved
Priority channel — approved in three business days
Advertising specialist skills assessment approved
Offshore applicant — assessed with 4.79 years of work experience
Visitor visa grants
Tourists, PR holders’ parents coming to visit, a previously DIY-refused case overturned, partners coming to visit their other half, and international students’ parents coming for graduation ceremonies — every single one was successful! As always, the key is the documents, the documents, the documents!

Get in touch and we will assess whether a visitor visa is the right move for your situation!
