Early Childhood Education

Career Prospects

The early childhood education sector in Australia has long offered stable income, regular hours, well-established industry standards, and a straightforward work environment. In Australia, newly qualified early childhood teachers can earn at least AU$40,000–50,000 per year, with weekly wages reaching AU$1,488,and salaries increase steadily with years of experience.

Furthermore, most early childhood education programmes in Australia include practical placements,so students can undertake placements or part-time work while still studying, and the majority of graduates are able to find full-time employment relatively quickly.
