Lower-cost Australian universities —while many students pay close attention to a university’s overall ranking and the subject ranking of their chosen field,affordable study-abroad options are far more popular.For those who have their sights firmly set on migration,study is simply a stepping stone— the ultimate goal is obtaining permanent residency in Australia.Australian employers value employees’ work experience and capability— not the graduating institution — which is a key difference from the domestic market. So keeping study costs as low as possible and securing residency as quickly as possible is the priority;

Recognised qualifications —while the university may not rank in the top 100,it is absolutely accredited both domestically and internationally,which matters if you plan to return to China in the future —an overseas qualification and work experience will add real value to your career;

Migration-friendly —in the many study-abroad consultations we have conducted recently, 90% of students have considered migrating to Australia in the future. Ofthose, more than 80% have a very clear goal of obtaining permanent residency, so students choosingtheir field of study prioritise ‘migration-friendly’ factors— they prefer programmes with multiple migration pathways, lower points requirements, and multiple states offering state nomination. High-employment-prospect fields in Australia are also very popular, since after obtaining residency, settling and living in Australia long-term is the plan.

Today, we introduceseveral high-value study-abroad and migration programmes priced around 200,000 RMB in tuitionthat have been selected in light of the recentlyannounced state nomination policiesfor your reference.

Victoria recently announced the opening of state nomination applications for the new financial year, with policies significantly more relaxed compared to last financial year,all occupations on the Department of Home Affairs occupation list will be eligible to apply,STEMM Skills are no longer required and working in a target sector is sufficient to apply. Furthermore,Victoria has clearly identified priority fields, including early childhood, secondary, and special education teachers.

It is likely that those with work in Victoria related to their nominated occupation stand a higher chance of receiving in-state invitations. According to federal government data, early childhood education is the third-most in-demand occupation in Australia over the next five years, with shortages across all regions — finding employment after graduation is not difficult.For Subclass 491 applications, onshore applicants are required to reside and hold employment related to their nominated occupation in regional Victoria. Students studying in Victoria can therefore look for work related to their field after graduating in Victoria and submit a Victoria state nomination application.

Last financial year, South Australia was one of the most popular destinations for study-and-migrate pathways,because South Australia’s state nomination has a graduate stream — those who study and complete their degree in South Australia may be exempt from high English score requirements or partial work experience requirements,and the points competition is not as fierce as in New South Wales or Victoria. Many students deliberately chose to study in South Australia specifically to meet the graduate stream requirements for South Australian state nomination.

While South Australia’s state nomination for this financial year has not yet opened,South Australia’s state nomination policy has consistently been more favourable to local graduates,and the South Australian state nomination policy is expected to be announced within the next few days — keep a close eye out; we will also be following developments closely for you. In addition to teachers, social workers and nurses are nominated occupations that have received consistent invitations since the pandemic began— and they are alsoamong the top-priority occupations on state nomination occupation lists across various states.Today we have compiled several popular study-abroad and migration programmes for your reference.

Due to the impact of the pandemic, Australia’s total population has continued to decline. At this rate, Australia’s population in 10 years’ time will be 1.5 million below pre-pandemic projections. Only by returning net overseas migration to positive figures and raising the population growth rate can consumer spending be stimulated and economic recovery strengthened.As a result, the government will steadily increase permanent migration to restore it to approximately 200,000 per year,to drive economic growth and address skills shortages; the mid-year budget update indicates that net overseas migration over the next two years is estimated to be 120,000 more than previously projected.

For everyday applicants, the Subclass 190 and Subclass 491 visas are the migration trend!While Australia’s migration policy is relatively complex — because each state and territory has its own state nomination policy with different eligible occupations — the pattern of state nomination policy favouring local students consistently holds true!

Australia currently has many in-demand occupations. If you work in IT, engineering, early childhood education, nursing, or related fields, you not only have migration opportunities but also access to high salaries. Not sure which pathway suits you?
