This financial year, NSW issued a large number of invitations to low-scoring arts and commerce occupations under the Subclass 190/491 program, with some invited on as little as 65 points. Financial Investment Adviser

Qualification requirements:
A relevant bachelor’s degree + ≥1 year of relevant work experience
An unrelated bachelor’s degree + ≥3 years of relevant work experience

Job duties (for reference only):
– Interviewing prospective clients to establish their financial position and goals, discussing financial options and developing financial plans, and
investment strategies;
– Monitoring investment performance, and reviewing and revising investment plans in line with changing market needs and circumstances;
Advising on investment strategies, sources of funds and the distribution of income;
– Setting financial objectives, and developing and implementing strategies to achieve them;
– Referring clients to other organisations to obtain the services set out in their financial plan.

Marketing Specialist

Qualification requirements:
A relevant bachelor’s degree + ≥1 year of relevant work experience
An unrelated bachelor’s degree + ≥3 years of relevant work experience

Job duties (for reference only):
– Supporting business growth and development by preparing and implementing marketing objectives, policies and programmes
– Commissioning and undertaking market research for new and existing goods and services
– Advising on all elements of marketing, such as product mix, pricing, advertising and sales promotion, and sales and distribution channels

Job duties (for reference only):
– Promoting conferences, conventions and trade shows to prospective clients
– Responding to enquiries about services, providing costs for room and equipment hire, catering and related services
– Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and outline package options to meet those needs
– Arranging and coordinating services such as conference facilities, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, accommodation, and transport and social activities for participants

Program or Project Administrator 

Program or Project Administrator
Qualification requirements:
A relevant diploma + ≥1 year of relevant work experience
An unrelated diploma + ≥2 years of relevant work experience

Job duties (for reference only):
– Developing, reviewing and negotiating variations to programmes, projects and services
– Responding to enquiries and resolving issues concerning programmes and projects, the services provided and the people affected
– Managing the paperwork associated with the programmes, projects and services provided
– Working with project managers, architects, engineering professionals, owners and others to ensure objectives are met
– Advising senior management on matters requiring attention and implementing their decisions
– Overseeing the work of contractors and reporting on variations to work orders
– Preparing and reviewing submissions and reports on the organisation’s activities
– Collecting and analysing data relating to projects undertaken, and reporting on project outcomes
