NO.3 Curtin University in WA is giving away A$10,000 scholarships
In the latest news, in 2023 any student enrolling in Curtin University’s ELB English course or Gateway has the chance to receive a tuition waiver for a 2/6/10-week English course; The eligibility requirements for this scholarship are fairly relaxed. As long as you are an international student at a WA campus, your main course starts in 2022 or later, and your course runs for at least 1 year — any course type, including undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs — you can apply. There is no quota on this tuition waiver; no separate application is needed, as Curtin University assesses it automatically!
Curtin University offers a range of scholarships to talented students to help ease their burden and let them make the most of their abilities in their studies. These scholarships fall into several main types: academic achievement scholarships, outstanding graduate scholarships, hardship scholarships, international scholarships and more. Academic achievement scholarships are aimed at high-performing students, with the scholarship amount varying according to results. Outstanding graduate scholarships are for graduates and reward students who performed strongly during their studies. Hardship scholarships mainly support students facing specific difficulties, such as financial hardship. International scholarships are set up specifically to attract overseas students, helping them with tuition fees and to better adjust to the Australian academic environment.
What’s more, it’s worth mentioning that the Curtin University Outstanding International Student Scholarship is worth up to 25%, to a maximum of A$10,000. Eligible international students undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate study can apply ; for coursework master’s programs of less than two years, the scholarship is 25% of Semester 1 tuition fees.
