Today, NSW has finally, finally, finally issued Subclass 190 invitations!
A number of 261313 invited on 95+5 points, with DOE concentrated in late 2020 and early 2021.
There’s also262112 ICT Security Specialist on 95+5 points,DOE early November 2020.
There’s alsoCivil Engineering on 95+5 points,DOE early August 2020.

NSW Subclass 491
Also this week, there’s fresh news on Subclass 491 across more regional areas of NSW — many have already opened for applications. However, even though the NSW government has set three categories, the regional councils don’t necessarily open all of them. Today we’re summing up the latest regional updates (as at 5pm, 25 February 2021).
NSW Subclass 491 occupation lists by region
Greater Sydney region
Now open for applications
The areas designated as regional are quite limited,concentrated in the Hawkesbury or Blue Mountains Local Government Areas.
Accepts applications under Categories 1, 2 and 3a; Categories 3b and 3c do not accept offshore applicants
Central Coast region
Will open on 1 March 2021
Currently only accepting Category 1,the category for local residents and workers — this will be reviewed in April
Central West region
Now open for applications
Currently not accepting offshore applications under Category 3b (offshore applicants) or the offshore portion of Category 3c (relatives in regional NSW),Category 3a, the regional NSW Job Offer category, is open. Category 1 local residents and workers will be given priority processing.
Far South Coast region
Now open for applications
No restriction has been noted on which category can’t apply — for now, all three categories should be available
Far West region
Now open for applications
Currently not accepting offshore applications under Category 3b or the offshore portion of Category 3c,Category 3a, the regional NSW Job Offer category, is open.
Mid North Coast region
Will open in mid-February 2021 (no confirmed date yet, and not yet open)
Currently only accepting Category 1, the category for local residents and workers,
Northern Inland region
Now open for applications
Currently not accepting applications from offshore applicants
Northern Rivers region
Now open for applications
Currently only accepting Category 1, the category for local residents and workers

Some occupations in this region have already been suspended and can’t be applied for at present, though a future review and adjustment isn’t ruled out.

NSW Subclass 190 opportunities are reserved for onshore applicants only — you need to be currently living in NSW!But Subclass 491 covers a much wider range of applicants, especially the job offercategory — multiple regions arecurrently open for applications. Engineeringand ICT professionals who can’t reach a super-high score in Sydney or other states,can all look into opportunities by region~
