China’s Gaokao this year

According to China’s Ministry of Education:

11.93 million students registered for the 2022 national Gaokao —

an increase of 1.15 million on the previous year.

And that figure doesn’t even include

mature-age and private candidates.

Based on 2021 data,

the national undergraduate admission rate was just 41%,

meaning more than 370,000 students missed out on a university place.

While this year’s results are yet to be released,

the outcome is expected to be similar to last year.

The difficulty of this year’s Gaokao —

like the number of candidates — keeps climbing.

Reading this, you might be wondering:are you worried about

missing out on a place in that top 41%?

No worries, Baby
