Success Case 1: ICT Security Specialist


Occupation: 262112 ICT Security Specialist
Lodgement date:Nomination lodged May 2022,followed by visa application
Grant date:Nomination approved 17 November 2022



Success Case 2: Software Engineer


Lodgement date: Nomination lodged March 2022, followed by visa application
Grant date: Nomination approved 9 November 2022

Approved in just over 7 months!Because the applicant’sage was over 40 and the points score for skilled migration was not high enough— unable to reach 65 points — the applicant instead applied for the Subclass 186 Employer Nomination Scheme visa. Following our advice at the time, thenomination and visa were lodged concurrentlyand both subsequently received a request for language fee payment. Apart from that additional payment, no other supporting documents were required!

Approved in six months!Nomination sponsored by a non-accounting-firm company — no additional documents required throughout!As many will know, the accounting occupation has shifted from being high-risk to one that now receives rapid approval. If the nominating company is an accounting firm, there is generally very little to worry about. With the new financial year allocation in hand, the Department cleared a backlog of earlier applications rapidly — both the Subclass 186 nomination and visa received quick approvals. If you have three years of full-time work experience but have been unable to find a suitable pathway, the Subclass 186 Employer Nomination Scheme visa lodged directly with the federal government is an excellent option.



Success Case 5: Accountant


Occupation: 221111 Accountant (General)
Lodgement date: Nomination lodged April 2022
Grant date: Nomination approved 28 September 2022

Unable to achieve IELTS 8 in all four bands, with a low EOI points score and therefore ineligible for a direct-PR skilled migration visa,the applicant — with one to three years of work experience — chose the Subclass 186 Employer Nomination Scheme visa. The nominating company was again a non-accounting firm.Accountants need not struggle in vain — there is always another path forward!

1. Applicant must be under 45 years of age;

2. Must hold English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6 in all four bands;

4. Must have three years of full-time work experience in the nominated occupation;

5. Must be sponsored by a suitably qualified company in Australia
