Many applicants try to save time by completing the NAATI course early and banking those 5 points. The relatively high pass rates of early internal courses were one of the main reasons people chose to sit for NAATI certification ahead of schedule. However, NAATI certification is only valid for 3 years — if you secured those 5 points early but still haven’t accumulated enough points for your visa application due to rising migration score thresholds, your certification may expire and those 5 points will be lost. So is there any way to protect them?
