The last world university ranking of this year – the 2024 Times Higher Education World Subject Rankings was released just yesterday! The Times World Subject Rankings are considered one of the most comprehensive, rigorous and balanced world university rankings of research-intensive universities in the world. In terms of subject rankings, Times also uses the same 18 indicators, of which the five first-level indicators are:Teaching, research quality, research environment, international outlook and industry. Let’s take a look at the performance of Australian universities this year~
Arts and Humanities
The ranking highlights universities that are leading in subjects including art, performing arts, design, languages, literature, linguistics, history, philosophy, theology, architecture and archaeology.A total of 4 schools in Australia ranked among the top 100 in the world this year!

UQ International Excellence Scholarship
Scholarship Summary:
Enrollment status: Freshman
Student type: international student
Academic level: undergraduate, graduate
Areas of Study: All
Scholarship amount: 25% tuition fee reduction per year
Scholarship duration: for the entire duration of the degree programme (up to four years)
Scholarship Description
This scholarship is available to outstanding students entering the University of Queensland in the first or second semester of 2024 to pursue relevant degree programmes. Eligible students will receive a 25% annual tuition reduction for up to four years.
Eligibility criteria:

Have applied to enter the University of Queensland for full-time study in related degree courses in the first or second semester of 2024, and have received an unconditional admission letter;
-
Have met the degree programme’s admission standards and English language proficiency requirements;
-
Not awarded other scholarships from the University of Queensland;
-
Be an undergraduate or postgraduate student with a cumulative weighted average score of 6.75 or above (calculated on the University of Queensland’s 7-point scale); or
-
Graduate from high school and achieve an Australian Tertiary Admission Ranking of ATAR99.
The school will automatically review the application, so there is no need to actively apply.
UQ International High Achievers Scholarship – Global

Similarly, the school will automatically review the application, so there is no need to actively apply.
UQ Onshore Merit Scholarship
Scholarship Summary:

Academic level: undergraduate, graduate

Scholarship amount: Tuition fee exemption of AUD 5,000 for each of the first two semesters (total AUD 10,000)
Scholarship Duration: Tuition fee remission applies to the first two semesters (first semester for matriculation students)
This scholarship is applicable to outstanding students who have obtained the latest academic qualifications in Australia and will enter the University of Queensland to study related degree programmes in the first or second semester of 2024. They will receive a tuition fee exemption of AUD 5,000 for each of the first two semesters.

Scholarship Description
This scholarship is available to University of Queensland alumni who will enter the University of Queensland in the first or second semester of 2024 to study related degree programmes. During the period of study, you will receive a 10% tuition fee reduction every year.
Eligibility criteria:

is an alumnus of the University of Queensland;

Have completed at least 2 semesters (16 units) of full-time study at the University of Queensland;

Have applied to enter the University of Queensland for full-time study in related degree courses in the first or second semester of 2024, and have received an admission notice;

Southern Cross University has announced a range of new degrees to be offered in 2024, including a range ofBusiness courses and new Bachelor of Counseling, Bachelor of Innovation with Honors, Master
of Computing and Master of Nursing.
Bachelor of CounsellingCourses will be offered across all three campuses and within the Honlieu curriculum and will provide a foundation in psychology, assessment and intervention, counseling theory and practice, and relationship building.
