Parent Migration

No data this week

Currently, the fastest processing has only reached applications lodged in early-to-mid 2016. This financial year’s parent migration quota has been cut from 7,175 previously to 4,500 places, and the approved quota could be used up by February. However, there’s good news for parent migration recently — the Assurance of Support (AOS) sponsor requirements are unlikely to change in the short term. For a detailed analysis of the recent parent migration situation and the size of the application backlog, click here to view:

Why “no short-term change to the AOS requirement for parent migration” is good news, plus the latest on parent migration processing and KIRK’s SBS interview recording!
