State nomination is available nationwide. Upon completing an accredited programme, skills assessment can be obtained without a separate English test score.

Flinders University (South Australia), Master of Speech Pathology, 2 years.
Why: entry requires only an English level equivalent to overall IELTS 7 (6.5 in each band).No prerequisite courses required, with regional bonus points available.Graduating locally in South Australia requires just 3 months of work experience to receive a Subclass 190 invitation.
Occupational Therapist Occupational Therapist
Specialises in using purposeful activities to treat or assist individuals with physical, psychological, developmental or social functioning impairments, helping them achieve independence in daily life.
State nomination is available nationwide.
Recommended institution:
University of Canberra (ACT), Master of Occupational Therapy, 2 years.
Why:No prerequisite courses required, with regional bonus points available
Medical Radiation Therapist Radiation Therapist
State nomination is available nationwide (except ACT).
Recommended institution:
Monash University (Victoria), Master of Radiation Therapy, 2 years.Requires undergraduate study in human anatomy and physiology
Why:Victoria nominates under the Medical category — a sector with very low competition and consistent invitations
Medical Diagnostic Radiographer Diagnostic Radiographer (Medical Imaging)
State nomination is available nationwide (except ACT).
Recommended institution:
University of Canberra (ACT), Master of Medical Imaging, 2 years.Requires one higher education unit in human anatomy and one in physiology (these can be completed via online study, such as through Open University)
Why:Australia’s only postgraduate Medical Imaging degree — short duration
Medical Lab Scientist Medical Laboratory Scientist
A specialist allied health professional responsible for medical laboratory testing and diagnostics
State nomination is available nationwide (except ACT).

Charles Darwin University (Northern Territory), Master of Medical Laboratory Science, 2 years.Requires an undergraduate degree related to biomedical science/medicine
University of Tasmania, Master of Medical Laboratory Science, 2 years.Requires an undergraduate degree related to biomedical science/health science/medicine/science + second-year biochemistry & physiology + second/third-year immunology & microbiology
Why:Requires only English equivalent to IELTS overall 6.5 (6 in each band), Australian higher education graduates may be exempt from English requirements. The Northern Territory requires no work experience to obtain Subclass 190 state nomination.
