Housing crunch? Griffith University steps up with 200 beds!
To tackle the housing shortage, Queensland’s Griffith University has taken the lead!Griffith University is converting vacant student dormitories into emergency short-term accommodation, including redesigning floor plans and carrying out renovations.
The conversion and renovation work is expected to be completed by mid-2023.
Following the Queensland Housing Summit last October, the Queensland Government announced a budget of more than $50 million AUD to help more Queensland residents access housing.
International students have been returning in large numbers recently,
making an already tight Australian rental market even more competitive.
Returning to Australia is now all but certain.

Students compete across campus, completing challenges for a chance to win prizes!

6. Library Tour
Activities include library tours, a scavenger hunt, speed competitions, and more.
