The University of Melbourne sits at 14th in the world, UNSW and the University of Sydney are tied at 19th, and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) has reached 90th, joining the University of Adelaide in the global top 100.

Full details of the campaign are as follows:
– Applies to all students enrolling in an Australian foundation programme, a fast-track first-year (diploma) course, direct undergraduate entry via Gaokao, or progression from a bachelor’s to a master’s — both onshore and offshore students
– For offshore students: on signing you pay only a RMB 1,000 deposit, which is fully refunded once your application and enrolment are successful
– For onshore students: free application
– Campaign period: 1 July 2023 – 31 October 2023

For these Australian universities ranked in the QS global top 100, you can enter the fast-track first-year diploma course without a Gaokao score, then progress straight into second-year study on completion:

Diploma International Fast-Track First-Year Course
The fields typically covered include business, IT, architecture, science, engineering and media. Entry generally requires a high-school average of 80-85% and an IELTS score of 6, with the precise requirements varying by major. Australian National University: a Gaokao score of 70-85% covers most majors; law requires around 88%
University of Sydney: a Gaokao score of 70-75%
UNSW: business/engineering/IT require around 70% -75%
University of Queensland: engineering/IT require 75%, business 70-75%
Monash University: some majors are available with 60% and above
University of Western Australia: most majors 68%-78%
University of Adelaide: 55%-85%, with medicine-related courses 65%-80%

The language requirement is IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6; students who do not meet it can take an English language course.Most Australian universities intake in February and July, while a few run a three-semester system in February, June and September.
