Cancel CASPer!

Monash University School of Educationis about to launch its own teaching fitness test, calledMonash Teaching Suitability Test (MTeST)

From September 11th, Monash University offers more options for students about to study for a Master of Education degree. In addition to the existing Capser exam,Students also have the option of taking Monash’s own MEAT test.
MTeST is free and takes about 15 minutes to complete. It consists of seven open-ended questions, with two minutes allotted for each question. Testing is conducted online, allowing candidates to complete the test at their preferred location.

All eligible students will automatically be considered as long as they receive an unconditional offer of admission by:

  • Availability of some amounts may be limited to specific student groups.

To be eligible, people need to meet:
  • -Is an international student.
  • – A Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree on a CRICOS registered course that has been applied for but has not yet started at the University of Sydney, usually on a scholarship programmeme offered locally at the University of Sydney.
  • – Obtain an unconditional offer of admission by the relevant deadline.

Australian universities usually have two semesters, namely S1 (January/February) and S2 (July/August). The application deadline is based on personal circumstances and professional needs.It is recommended that applicants usually submit application materials six months in advance.
